I’m writing my message for this Sunday morning and decided that we need to start talking about the future of CCDS. We used a cool video about training fleas at Beachside that I want to use and I’m thinking of ending with the Chasing the Lion Manifesto. This is a cool time in my mind for CCDS. We have an opportunity for a breath of fresh air to come in a send us in a new direction and fan back in flame the fire that started when we first fell in love with Chirst. I feel a little odd because most of the time these ideas come from the lead guy not the youth minister. But its steam in my bones trying to get out and I have an opportunity to share what is on my heart that God is ready to use us to reach the lost, the hurting and people in our community through love and service. Just some thought that are running through my mind as I spend some time this morning in message preparation and time with God.
