Bruce Chant just posted over on his blog about how his church has not put much thought or action into Communion. I grew up in a church that had communion every Sunday. So for me its not a question, Jesus had a meal with His disciples and said do this in rememberance of Me, the early church did (Acts 2) and Paul talks about it to the Corinthians church (1 Cor 11: 17-34). So its kind of odd to me for a church to not offer it or to offer it just once a month. Why when we see that the early church practiced it why would we who want to be like them not do it?
