It has been great to watch God work. I don't have all the things I would have hoped for, but God has taken care of us. I don't know where he is leading you yet, but he has not abandoned you, so have faith. It's like you said, our measure of God can not be in earthly things, but in heavenly things. I have seen many people (trump, gates) and many churches (mormons, mulsims) who are greatly "blessed" but are not following God's will.
